Brilliant location, warm welcome just like home away from home. Great view of Mt Fuji, walking distance to everything including the car rental companies and those places to rent bicycle to ride around the area. The owner is personable, down on earth. He makes EXCEPTIONAL COFFEE. We love their breakfast though it's simple but yummy. I would stay again!

This is the second time I stayed at the hotel because the hotel is so close to Kawaguchiko station, opposite the station on the right side. The main door and the signboard of the hotel is quite hard to recognize the hotel. There is a small onsen bathroom in the hotel with nice view of Mt. Fuji that I really like. The hotel is very kind to allow us to check in late and lend me some Japanese two-pin plug. Besides, the hotel is not so far from Kawaguchiko lake (10 minutes). The room is clean. Would recommend to stay.

We really enjoyed the cheerful staff and the effort they went to when we asked them for help with anything. The location is great with a stunning view of Mt Fuji from some of the rooms. Also being so close to the main transport hub of Kawaguchiko was very convenient. It's a lovely little place and kept very clean.

This hotel is incredibly convenient, located just across from the bus and train stations. The room offers an authentic Japanese-style experience, with a futon placed on the floor that’s warm, clean, and cozy. Daily housekeeping and fresh towels were a nice touch. The staff were friendly, helpful, and communicated well in English. Facilities included shared bathrooms, private showers, public baths, and even a Japanese-style hot spring, which added to the experience. The shared toilets were slightly inconvenient but manageable. Highly recommended for travelers seeking a genuine Japanese stay!

- The location is unrivalled. It is 30 seconds from the Kawaguchiko station, 2 minutes to 7/11 convenience store and within walking distance to attractions such as Ide Sake Brewery (good for a tour on rainy days), Fuji Q Highland roller coaster park and some shrines and parks. It is also a short bus or train from other major attractions which are free with the Hakone Free Pass. - The staff were super friendly. They spoke English and were very helpful with tips. - The facilities very clean. - There is an onsen on the top floor which is super unique and provides undisturbed views of Mount Fuji on a clear day. - There is a chill out zone on the basement floor with some games, table tennis and computers. This was great to relax and play jenga after a long day.

We liked everything about Kawaguchiko Station Inn and hopefully, we will be back one day! The owner/main receptionist was the best, provided us with a hose for cleaning our shoes after a very rainy hike as well as pointed us to where the washing machine was. Apart from that the rooms are so authentic and feel so nice to have a change from nice hotels in Tokyo. There was a matcha tea set in the room as well as super nicely fitting robes in the room for the gender-separated spas upstairs. The location is superb in front of the train station or buses for Mt. Fuji hike. The beds we made ourselves were very comfy.

The location is great. It is across the street from the train station at Kawaguchiko, where you can take the bus to Mt. Fuji (Yoshida Trail side). Also, even though the check-in was from 14:00, you could contact the staff and store your luggage with them if you want to arrive early and start roaming around. The room was nice and spacious and the AC worked really well. There was a TV where you could watch basic channels. Outlets to charge your electronic devices. They provided us with a disposable toothbrush and toothpaste. They gave us water and an electric tea kettle.

Excellent location - it is located right outside Kawaguchiko Station. As the weather was bad (rain and foggy) when we visited, we were very appreciative that we could get in/out of hotels easily with our luggage. Lots of eateries around too. Hotel is basic, small but clean. You also need to make your own beds. There is no lift so you need to carry your luggages on your own but the lady at the counter was very kind to help me with my luggage. Shared showers and onsen are available at L4. Toilets are available at every floor. The price is fantastic so please do not expect luxury hotel standards - which is at least 4X the price. I was lucky to be given a room that faces Mt Fuji BUT unfortunately had no sight of Mt Fuji because of the heavy fog and rain throughout my 3D2N stay there.

Situated right in front of the station, this place immediately caught our attention. However, it was the staff who truly won us over. The older couple and the young lady who greeted us were incredibly hospitable and provided us with all the information we needed to make our stay enjoyable. We were particularly impressed by the large bath area, complete with all the amenities we needed and hot water that was perfect for soaking in after a long day of exploring. Although the breakfast was simple, it was fulfilling and set us up for the day ahead. Overall, we highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay near Kawaguchiko.
